Competition Rules

Internal Competitions

  • No age limit on prints, no size restrictions on mounts.

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) all elements of entry images must have been taken by the entrant. Original file might be requested where doubt exist.

  • Competitions A.B.C. a maximum of 2 prints with title and the section of the competition being entered on the reverse, plus 2 DPIs.

  • Subjects will be rotated for each competition.

  • Prints placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd can only be entered into one competition, unless modified.

End of season competition

  • 3 on a theme colour or mono. No age limit on prints, no size restrictions on mounts.

  • Print of the season, 2 prints  1 colour and 1 mono, taken in the current season ( the time betwwen the current and previous years end of season competitions)  and could have been entered into this seasons competition 'A,B or C'

Selection Process for Inter Club Competitions

  • No age limit on prints, mounts must be rectangular 50cm x 40cm with backing, title only on reverse.

  • Selection evening will be held before competitions, you can enter a maximum of 3 prints colour or mono. The members will select the two to go forward to a  committee consisting of the Competition Secretary, a Committee Member and a Non Committee Member  who will select the image best suited for competition entry. Any further selection will be carried out by the same members.
